What to expect
The size is preset to a 1080 × 1080 post with Crop to exact size. Switch to the portrait (1080 × 1350) or Story (1080 × 1920) preset, or pad the image to keep everything visible. Results export at exact pixel sizes.
Limits apply to both input and output. Animated images are not supported. Files remain in memory only; reloads clear your work. Smaller batches help on mobile devices.

What size should an Instagram post be?
Use 1080 × 1080 for square posts, 1080 × 1350 for portrait posts and 1080 × 1920 for Stories and Reels. Portrait posts take up the most space in the feed.
How do I post a photo without cropping it?
Choose Fit and pad to exact size. The whole photo is kept and background bars are added to reach the Instagram size; pick white, black or a custom color.
Will Instagram compress my photo again?
Instagram re-compresses uploads. Starting from an exact 1080 px width with high quality gives the sharpest result after upload.
Can I resize several photos for a carousel?
Yes. Add up to 20 photos; all of them are resized to the same preset and can be downloaded as a ZIP.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Image processing takes place in your browser. Files are not sent to Codia and are removed from this workspace when you refresh or leave. Website analytics, when permitted, never contain your images or file names.
Can I process multiple files?
Yes, up to 20 files per batch, within the displayed size limits. Each file is processed separately. Download successful results individually or as a ZIP; a failed file does not block the others.
Will quality and metadata stay the same?
Results depend on the operation and settings. Lossy compression changes pixels; JPG removes transparency. Exports target ordinary 8-bit web images and do not promise EXIF, HDR, original color profiles or 16-bit preservation. Always inspect the result.
