Codia

Studio AI Design Agents

Overview

Studio uses AI design agents to turn a creative request into visual work. The default Codia agent is a generalist. Specialist agents focus the conversation around a design category such as logos, brands, posters, social media, ecommerce, packaging, ads, illustration, UI, print, Shopify, Temu, presentations, or inspiration finding.

Use the agent choice as a brief shortcut. It tells Studio what kind of visual judgment to prioritize before you add detailed prompt instructions.

When To Use A Specialist

Agent typeBest fit
Logo or Brand DesignerIdentity exploration, brand refreshes, visual systems, logo direction.
Poster, Social, or Ad DesignerCampaign graphics, social posts, promotional visuals, thumbnails.
Ecommerce, Amazon, Shopify, or Temu DesignerProduct listing visuals, product scenes, marketplace graphics.
Packaging or Print DesignerPhysical product concepts, labels, cards, flyers, print-ready direction.
UI DesignerApp screens, landing references, interface-style mockups.
Presentation DesignerSlide covers, section dividers, presentation visuals.
Inspiration FinderMood boards, reference research, and direction discovery before generation.

Use the default Codia agent when the task spans several categories or you are still exploring.

How To Work With Agents

  1. Open Studio.
  2. Choose the agent that matches the deliverable.
  3. Describe the goal, audience, format, style, required text, and constraints.
  4. Add reference images when visual direction matters.
  5. Review the first results and give focused follow-up instructions.

Use the Poster Designer to create a product launch poster for a compact espresso machine. Make it premium, warm, and editorial. Include one headline, one short benefit line, and space for a CTA.

Best Practices

  • Choose the agent by output type, not by internal team role.
  • Keep the prompt concrete even when using a specialist.
  • Switch to Inspiration first if the visual direction is unclear.
  • Move to the Canvas Editor when the remaining work is layout precision.
