Studio Generation Settings
Overview
Generation settings shape the output before Studio starts generating. They are useful when the final channel, format, or brand constraints are already known.
Keep settings simple when you are exploring. Add constraints when they reduce ambiguity.
Core Controls
| Control | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Model | The generation or editing model used for the task. |
| Aspect ratio | Canvas shape, such as square, vertical, or landscape. |
| Output count | Number of options generated in one turn. |
| Inspiration | A visual direction or template-like style cue. |
| Color | Palette guidance for the output. |
| Brand Kit | Brand context such as logo, color, and visual style. |
Choosing A Ratio
Use the final destination as the guide:
- Square for icons, thumbnails, product tiles, and many social posts.
- Vertical for stories, posters, mobile-first visuals, and tall ads.
- Landscape for banners, hero images, presentation covers, and website sections.
- Custom or canvas edits when the final composition needs manual finishing.
Choosing Output Count
Generate more options when exploring direction. Generate fewer options when the prompt is already precise or you are iterating on a chosen result.
Color And Brand Context
Use color constraints when brand consistency matters. Use Brand Kits when Studio should reuse stored brand context across multiple tasks.
Best Practices
- Do not over-constrain early exploration.
- Set ratio before generating if the output must fit a channel.
- Use color and brand kit settings for campaign consistency.
- Change one setting at a time when diagnosing output problems.
