Studio Canvas Export
Overview
Canvas export turns Studio work into files or clipboard content for delivery, presentation, editing, or handoff. Choose the export scope first, then choose the format.
Export Scope
| Scope | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Full canvas | You want the whole composition. |
| Selected element | You only need one object or frame. |
| Multi-selection | You want a subset of elements together. |
| Current page | You are working in a paged canvas. |
| Page batch | You need multiple pages exported together. |
Export Formats
Studio canvas export can support image formats, PDF, print-oriented PDF options, PPT, PSD, SVG or vectorized SVG for suitable targets, selected element export, and copy-to-Figma workflows.
Use the target format based on the next step:
| Format | Best for |
|---|---|
| PNG or image formats | Web, social, previews, and flat delivery. |
| Review, sharing, print-oriented workflows, and page delivery. | |
| PPT | Presentation handoff when the canvas represents slide-like material. |
| PSD | Photoshop-oriented layered handoff where supported. |
| SVG / vectorized SVG | Icon-like or vector-suitable assets. |
| Copy to Figma | Moving supported elements into Figma for continued design work. |
PSD And Figma Notes
Studio can import PSD files into the canvas and can export or copy supported structures for handoff. Fidelity depends on the source file, effects, fonts, masks, rasterized content, and target application support.
Always open exported PSD, PPT, PDF, or Figma-pasted content before client delivery.
Recommended Workflow
- Finish layout and image edits on the canvas.
- Decide whether the recipient needs a flat image, editable structure, slides, or a review file.
- Select the correct scope.
- Export or copy to Figma.
- Open the exported result and check text, layout, effects, and image quality.
