Q: Which Codia product should I use first?
A: Use Codia Studio for AI visual creation and image editing, Screenshot to Design for rebuilding screenshots in Figma, Design to Code for generating UI code from finished designs, and NoteSlide for converting static slides or NotebookLM PDFs into editable decks.
Q: Do Codia services train AI models on my uploads or outputs?
A: No. Codia does not use your user content, prompts, uploaded files, or generated outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. See the Privacy Policy for the full data-handling policy.
Q: How are subscriptions and credits organized?
A: Product subscriptions are still managed separately, but public Open API capabilities use one Codia Open API balance. Check your dashboard before running large conversions, especially for API, NoteSlide, image generation, SVG conversion, or batch workflows.
Q: What should I do if a conversion misses elements or has layout issues?
A: Try a clearer source file, crop to the specific area you need, and convert dense pages in smaller sections. For important text, numbers, charts, and legal or brand copy, review the output manually before publishing.
Q: Do I need to name or tag Figma layers before using Codia?
A: No. Codia can interpret visual structure without special layer naming. Clean grouping and visible layers can still help with readability and downstream editing.
Q: How is Codia different from Figma's built-in code panel?
A: Figma's code panel provides basic snippets for selected elements. Codia focuses on full visual workflows: rebuilding visuals, extracting structure, generating editable designs, and producing more complete UI code for web and mobile targets.
Q: Can I automate Codia from my own tools?
A: Yes. The API Reference documents supported REST endpoints and MCP setup. Use API keys from the dashboard and confirm the required subscription before batch usage.
