Beyond NotebookLM

Works on Gamma, Tome, Canva, Pitch, and scanned lecture handouts.

Image input supported

Upload JPG or PNG screenshots — NoteSlide will reconstruct each as an editable slide.

Multilingual

109 languages recognized, including CJK and right-to-left scripts.

Output quality

Built for real presentation editing

The result is not a screenshot stack. NoteSlide reconstructs the deck as native presentation objects so downstream edits are predictable.

Vision-based parsing

Detects slide layout and text from images, not just embedded PDF text.

Editable reconstruction

Turns flattened visual content into PowerPoint objects you can modify.

Mixed inputs

Handle PDFs, screenshots, and scanned slide material in one browser workflow.

Why image-based PDFs are hard

AI slide tools and many corporate exports flatten slides into pictures inside a PDF wrapper. PowerPoint can't read text out of those images, and traditional OCR drops the layout. NoteSlide's AI Vision pipeline detects text alongside its surrounding shapes and rebuilds them as native PowerPoint objects.

What works as input

NotebookLM PDF exports (the original use case). Gamma, Tome, Pitch, and Canva PDF exports that flatten to images. Scanned lecture or training handouts. Photos or screenshots of slides (JPG, PNG, WebP). Older PDF-only slide archives where the source deck is lost.

Who this is for

Scanned decks

Recover old training or lecture PDFs where the original slides are missing.

AI slide exports

Convert flattened exports from slide-generation tools into editable PPTX.

Whiteboard photos

Turn photographed slide-like content into a presentation starting point.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert image-based PDFs or photos of slides?+

Yes. NoteSlide accepts scanned PDFs, image-only PDFs, and JPG/PNG screenshots of slides. AI Vision rebuilds text and shapes from the image content into editable PowerPoint slides.

Which output formats are supported?+

NoteSlide exports editable PowerPoint (.pptx) files that open natively in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, and Google Slides without loss of structure.

Which languages does NoteSlide recognize?+

NoteSlide recognizes 109 languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, and more, so multilingual decks are converted without switching tools.

Why are NotebookLM slides not editable?+

NotebookLM exports slide decks as rasterized PDFs where text and shapes are pixels rather than editable elements. To edit the text or restyle the layout you need to rebuild the slide structure first, which is exactly what NoteSlide automates.

Is my document private?+

All uploaded documents are processed with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Files are not stored beyond the active processing window unless explicitly requested, and uploaded content is never resold, shared, or used to train models.
